about dxf manufacturing
Built toManufacture.Built to Last.
DXF Manufacturing was established in 2020 as the research and development arm of Mantech Machinery. With a singular focus: to investigate, design and manufacture our own cutting systems from the ground up in the UK.
That work led to the Vector project. A complete range of UK-designed fibre laser cutters, a proprietary control system and a CNC router platform currently in development.

About
From Thought to Production
DXF Manufacturing was established in 2020 as the research and development arm of Mantech Machinery — one of the UK's established machinery suppliers. The founding brief was straightforward: investigate whether we could design, engineer and manufacture our own cutting systems from scratch, entirely in the UK.
That investigation became the Vector project. What started as a research exercise grew into a full product development programme — spanning machine architecture, motion systems, control software and after-sales infrastructure. The result is a range of fibre laser cutting systems that are designed, assembled and supported by our own team, with no reliance on third-party rebadging or OEM sourcing for the core product.
Central to that development was V-CUT — our proprietary CNC control system, built in-house specifically for the Vector range. V-CUT gives DXF direct control over how the machine hardware and software interact, enabling tighter integration, better diagnostics and a consistent operating experience across every model in the range.
The Future
The Future is Bright for Vector
We are now a full manufacturing business, with an R&D team, fabrication capability, field engineering team and a sales and support operation — serving dealers and end users across the UK and Europe.
The next chapter is already underway. Our Vector CNC Router platform is currently in active development — a UK-designed and manufactured routing system that will extend the Vector brand beyond metal cutting. With European and global ambitions, DXF is building the infrastructure to grow its dealer network and user base significantly over the coming years.
DXF Manufacturing is a complete end-to-end operation — from the engineers who design and build the machines to the field team who install and support them. Every function sits under one roof with one goal: building machines that perform in production.

What we build
Our ProductPlatforms
Every product DXF brings to market is designed and built by our own team. We don't rebadge or resell; we manufacture. Our current and upcoming platforms reflect years of focused R&D investment.
FIBRE LASER
Vector Fibre Laser Cutters
Our flagship product range — professionally engineered fibre laser cutting systems for metal fabrication. Available from the compact FL60 through to the industrial FL130 (and our new FLX system, which is in development), every model is UK-assembled and backed by our own engineering team.
CONTROL SYSTEM
V-CUT Control System
Our proprietary CNC control system — developed in-house specifically for the Vector range. V-CUT gives DXF direct control over machine hardware and software integration, enabling consistent performance, advanced diagnostics and remote support across all Vector models.

Vector CNC Routers
Our next platform — a UK-designed and manufactured CNC router system with a dedicated control system, extending the Vector brand beyond metal cutting into woodworking, composites and non-ferrous materials. Currently in active development.

Designed and Assembled in the UK. Growing Globally.
DXF Manufacturing is a UK business with European and global ambitions. Our current dealer network spans the UK and Europe, but the goal is significantly broader. We are building the infrastructure, the product range and the dealer relationships to grow our user base exponentially over the coming years.
The Vector range gives us the platform to do that. A clearly structured lineup of machines — from the compact FL60 to the industrial FL300 — supported by a UK-developed control system and a CNC router platform in development means we are not standing still.
Every investment we make in R&D, manufacturing and dealer support is aimed at one outcome: more Vector machines, in more workshops, across more markets.

why dxf
Why Choose DXF Manufacturing
We are not a reseller, a rebadger or an importer. DXF Manufacturing designs, builds and supports its own machines, and that distinction matters to the customers and dealers who choose to work with us.
UK Designed & Assembled
Every Vector machine is designed and assembled in the UK by our own team — That means full control over quality, consistency and development.
Dealer Distribution
DXF sells exclusively through authorised dealers with protected territories. We do not compete with our own partners — giving dealers the confidence to invest in marketing and long-term customer relationships.
UK Designed Control System
V-CUT is developed in-house, not a licensed third-party controller. This gives DXF full control over machine performance, diagnostics, software updates and long-term compatibility across the Vector range.
Long-term Support Commitment
A 24-month parts and labour warranty is standard across every Vector machine in the UK and backed by our own UK field engineering team. We build machines to be supported long after installation. European and global dealers may have their own warranty terms.
